The Reporting tab displays real-time reports about how a Project's products meet industry-standard criteria. Reports update automatically as products and/or their eligible documents are added to a Project.
There are six reports:
- Project CMF alignment, which identifies how product disclosures align with Common Materials Framework (CMF) impact levels
- AIA Materials Pledge summary-level reporting, with itemized product-level reporting available via spreadsheet export
- LEED v5 Materials and Resources credit for Building Product Selection and Procurement (BPSP), which shows multi-attribute scores for each product in a Project with eligible documentation
- LEED v5 Multi-Attribute Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Products (pilot credit)
- LEED v5 Multi-Attribute Structure, Enclosure, Hardscape, and Other Building Materials (pilot credit)
- LEED v5 Low-Emitting Materials
Important: if you don't see a product in a report, make sure it has eligible documents. Each report includes a link to its list of eligible documents for your reference.
Any eligible documents linked from the Transparency Catalog are automatically factored into the reports, but you can also upload eligible documents and classify them accordingly during upload.
Additionally, each LEED report includes an accordion showing which MasterFormat® sections contribute toward report categories. If a section is missing or incorrect, contact us.
Project CMF alignment report
This report identifies how product disclosures in the Project align to CMF impact levels. It will automatically display CMF impact level alignment for any disclosures in the Transparency Catalog, and will also display alignment for any documents uploaded to the product that are part of the CMF. All products in the Project, including multiple copies of the same product (e.g., the same paint in different colors), are displayed in this table.
By default, the report is sorted by MasterFormat® division. You can also re-sort the report by manufacturer name, or use the search area directly above the report to filter it by MasterFormat® division, manufacturer name or product name. The report is paginated in groups of 20 products, but you can use controls at upper right above the report to change the number of products displayed or jump to another page.
The report also displays any description (notes) content and tags you've added to the products. Use the checkboxes above the table to hide that information.
If you need more sustainability documents to achieve your CMF goals, use the blue Find CMF documents button above the table to load a popup window linking to relevant document repositories.
AIA Materials Pledge reporting
The AIA Materials Pledge report shows summary-level information for products in the MasterFormat® sections associated with each AIA product type category.
Since the AIA's reporting spreadsheet asks firms to identify what quantity of products have disclosures contributing to each CMF impact level, Project Builder & Library's report displays small charts where you can see at a glance whether no, few, some, most or all products in the category contribute. Roll over each chart for specific information on the number of products contributing.
A manufacturer column displays all manufacturers whose products appear in that category. The documents column supplies a list of documents to use as reference when completing spreadsheet questions about specific disclosures and their optimization levels.
If your firm is itemizing product-level reporting, use the Export button at upper right to download a spreadsheet that lists:
- Product name
- Manufacturer name
- MasterFormat number
- URL to their Transparency Catalog Listing
- Attributes added by you or your team (description, BOD, substitutions, pricing)
- Transparency documents with attributes (document type, ID #, CMF impact levels, expiration date, results, third-party verification, and more)
Information from this CSV file can be cut and pasted into the AIA's reporting spreadsheet.
LEED v5 Materials and Resources credit: Building Product Selection and Procurement (BPSP)
The LEED v5 BPSP report shows multiattribute scores for products with eligible documents, helping you understand whether your selected products contribute towards the BPSP credit.
The report calculates multi-attribute scores for documents linked from the Transparency Catalog, as well as documents uploaded and identified as either part of the CMF / AIA Materials Pledge or the LEED v5 list of eligible documents. It includes a description of how multi-attribute scores are calculated, links to LEED credit language for each adaptation and a link to the LEED v5 Building Products Calculator, the only way to conclusively determine credit achievement.
LEED v5 Multi-Attribute Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Products (MEP)
This is a pilot credit for products with eligible documents in these mechanical, electrical and plubming categories with multi-attribute scores achieved from two or more criteria areas; Climate Health is required.
Products must not be in the BPSP or other Building Materials credit categories.
LEED v5 Multi-Attribute Structure, Enclosure, Hardscape, and Other Building Materials (Other)
This is a pilot credit for products that are not in the BPSP or MEP credit categories. To earn points, use products with eligible documents with a minimum multi-attribute score of 3. Only eligible documents that achieve at least that multi-attribute score are displayed in this report.
LEED v5 Low-Emitting Materials
This report displays products with eligible documents in eight categories. Documents must demonstrate testing to the CDPH v1.2-2017 private office scenario.
