Project Builder & Library makes it easy for you to find, upload, and see the impact of sustainability documentation with a Documents area that shows you how a product addresses the impact areas in the Common Materials Framework (CMF). You can also use this area to upload and identify documents eligible for LEED v5 credit, as well as other document types, such as CAD/BIM files.
If you need more sustainability documents than are available in the Transparency Catalog, use the Find CMF documents popup accessible from the blue button above the list of uploaded documents. Here, you'll find a searchable, filterable list of links to certification and disclosure provider websites, with each link including a list of its related CMF impact areas. Click on a link to visit the website and download what you want to upload to Project Builder & Library.
Roll over any of the CMF icons in this popup or in the table to see the name of the impact area.
Document types
The Document type dropdown in the Documents accordion lets you identify whether a document is:
- Part of the CMF and/or helpful for AIA Materials Pledge reporting
- Listed as a LEED v5 eligible document
- LEED v5 eligible documents partially overlap with the list of CMF / AIA documents, but provide more specificity about achievement level. Use this list if you're focusing on accurate LEED v5 BPSP reporting.
- Because of this partial overlap, a [LEED v5] indicator appears at the end of the document name to distinguish it from the similar CMF / AIA document.
- Listed as a LEED v5 LEM eligible document
- Another type, such as CAD/BIM or material safety data sheet
Choose one of these three options to display the complete list of documents available.
