It’s normal for people to come and go from organizations, and when someone leaves your company, you may want to delete their Project Builder & Library account. However, when a person’s Project Builder & Library account is deleted, all account data – including any Projects that person created – is deleted as well.
Project Builder & Library offers an easy solution to this problem: projects can be reassigned to new Owners so there is no brain drain or loss of collective knowledge.
Designate at least one additional Owner for the departing employee’s Projects before their Project Builder & Library account is deactivated. To do this, the Project’s original Owner or an account administrator must share the Project with the new owner(s). (Alternatively, the account administrator can add themselves as Owner.)
